Why do we need a picture of your ID?

As a registered NHS pharmacy, we are required to check the identity of our patients to ensure they match with your NHS records. If we do not have a record of a valid photo ID provided by you the patient, we cannot process your prescription(s). During the registration process you can skip this stage if you’d like however the sooner you upload a valid picture of your photo ID the sooner, we can deliver your medication(s).

What type of photo ID is valid?

Any official photo ID issued by your national government is valid. Acceptable forms of photo ID include:

1.    Passport

2.    Drivers Licence

3.    National Identity Card

We want to assure you that:
  1. Your photo ID is absolutely safe with us. We do not share your personal details or photo ID with anyone, and they are stored safely and securely. Click here to review our comprehensive privacy policy.
  1. We ask, because it is essential. Under the regulations set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), all online pharmacies are legally required to verify the identity of the patient using their service.
