Welcome to Phlo - the digital pharmacy of the future. Phlo is the new generation of online pharmacies delivering NHS and private prescriptions when and where a patient needs them. We empower patients to better manage their healthcare by allowing them to easily order and track their prescriptions in real-time. Life can be difficult as it is, accessing your medication shouldn’t be.
What makes Phlo different? In London we offer a 4-hour same day delivery time slot and we’re getting ready to expand our same-day delivery service throughout the rest of England. We also offer next day delivery service throughout the UK.
We’re growing fast. Our repeat monthly revenue figures are strong, we closed a successful crowdfunding campaign, and the team has more than doubled in size. It’s time to bring pharmacy into the 21st century and we’d love you to be part of our journey.
As a UI UX designer on Phlo’s product team, you will work alongside designers, software developers, product owners and UX researchers to design user journey maps and blueprints for patient and pharmacy facing applications, as well as creating high fidelity wireframe designs and prototypes. You will also assist in developing a design system to work across all platforms facilitated by Phlo’s brand guidelines.
This is a full-time role and fully remote until government guidelines state otherwise. Once COVID rules have been relaxed, Phlo plans to operate a flexible working programme. Our HQ is in a co-working space in Glasgow and we’re flexible whether you work from here or remotely. If you work remotely, we will require that you come into the office now and again to meet and socialise with the team.
We pride ourselves on the working culture we have created at Phlo. As a high-growth health tech start-up, no two days are ever the same. That’s what excites our team, and it should excite you too!
We are a small, close-knit, highly collaborative team and are looking for someone to join us who is ambitious, energetic, detail-orientated and isn’t afraid to be proactive and suggest new ways of doing things. You may be working on multiple projects at once, so adaptability and the ability to self-organise are also key.
Most importantly, we want you to share our vision and understand that the work that you do has a direct impact on our patients and their healthcare.
The knowledge and skills we’ve listed represent “the perfect candidate”. No one is perfect and we know the ‘confidence gap’ can stop brilliant people applying. If you love the sound of this opportunity please apply, we’d love to hear from you.
These are our current benefits and likely to grow and change from time to time.
